Comment Spam

Recently the spam issue started all over again (hence this repost)..akismet is doing a great job in filtering the spam comments and at the same time, they are filtering many of us too☹️

So get ready with all your weapons to fight against this…

——-

Do you have the habit of checking your spam folder frequently..?

If not, please go to your wordpress admin and check the spam comments..please don’t be surprised on seeing so many genuine comments caught by Akismet, the comment spam filter..

So first of all, access your admin area. It can be accessed by visiting the wp-admin directory in your web browser. Example: http://www.example.com/wp-admin/. Or click on the wordpress icon in mobile app, scroll down , and now take “View Admin”.

On entering your admin area, just take the comments where you can access your spam section.

Unspam the required ones.

After two or three times, naturally those comments from the same blogger will be unspammed by Akismet.

Please do this on a frequent mode so that you wont miss to read from your lovely readers..

Thinking why this post, now.. Atleast a few of you will be knowing the reason as I am one of your favorites in the spam folder…

Spams are no longer in love with me

It is the interaction which connects us in this virtual world. Yes, definitely the relationship was built upon the blogs. But above to that, I think it got nurtured from the interactions, from the comments we do. Yes, the comments are the actual bond between the writers.

And these comments are easily attacked by spams too. And my comments were the favourite ones for these spams till a few days back. (Remember, Comment Spam ..?). Many of you found me in your spam folders. But now I am relieved. These spams are no longer in love with me.  😉 Akismet helped me to escape from this spam world.

So my friends, if you face these spam issues contact them. They will sort it out very quickly. They are very much supportive and responsive..So contact Akismet

Don’t miss any favorite posts

Reposting some wordpress Tips

How are you catching your follower’s blogs without missing any?

Do you have enough time to read posts from 500+ or 1000+ or 10000+ followers through your reader?

During each second, posts are getting added to your reader. Then are you not missing any of your favorite reader’s posts while scanning through the reader?

If you have enough time for full coverage (to read all posts in your reader), then it’s okay. nothing to be worried..

But when the followers are increasing, reader is going to be crowded each moment. And it is too difficult to read all posts due to time constraints. How are you managing this, so that you are not missing atleast a few of your favorite reader’s posts. (I am quite sure that every author will have some favorite blogs)

Yesterday I just googled and found the usage of ‘lists’ in wordpress. May be this is known to many of you and I am too late to explore the same. But I found this feature very useful and so share this post to those who haven’t noticed it so far.

Lists doesn’t force you to stick to that alone. Occasional scanning through full reader is also required to ensure the coverage and increase the reach.

Check this link on creating reader lists. It explain about creating a lists in your wordpress reader.

https://en.support.wordpress.com/reader-lists/

Now I am creating my lists.. Majority of you will be there in my favorite list  for sure.

Still if I miss to read your posts please let me know .. Please drop a comment here… So that I can add you to my lists.

Affirmative comments

Affirmative or constructive comments stimulate us a lot. It’s an art to speak in that way. Even in this wordpress world, we always feel better to read comment which has got something to tell us positively. It could be even a critic one, but makes us to wear a thinking hat after reading it.

I don’t mind whatever you tell me as I have a got a filer to my senses and a powerful blessing of short term memory with respect to the bad. 😉 (Of curse, it doesn’t mean that I am trouble-free.)

But I have seen some offensive comments, going on here and there, especially with people who may not have such a “filter”.

Why do we want to hurt someone’s ego with an offensive comment..?

So just a thought:

Why can’t we make them smile with our comment..?

Why can’t we make them feel better with our approach..?

Please don’t hesitate to offend me now, if you feel in the other way. 😉

People may tell like, “I don’t mind whatever you think about me. I will say whatever I think”. Even then, my question is, “Do your inner self agree to your offensive nature? Can you still continue without least botheration of your words..?”

What kind of a blogger are you?

A few days back, Kishan told that he want to become a social blogger like me (he commented in response to two of my previous posts  ).

Ha ha ..”like me’’ .. lol.. let him realize what he is telling 😉

In his definition a social blogger is one who raises social issues as well as writes about small issues in daily life which matters the most.

I liked this caption ‘social blogger’. In fact I got this title from him when I was trying to define what I am writing.

Bhagavat Gita : – “Whatever happened, happened for the good; whatever is happening, is happening for the good; whatever will happen, will also happen for the good only. “

These words always inspire the ‘real me’.

I used to write about happenings in my life, which could be already happened, or happening or going to happen. Then I used to speak for women. And most frequently about love.  Is there anything else which I missed..?

Have you thought what kind of a blogger you are? So how will you define yourself..?

How easily you grabbed my time..

I always worried seeing people buried themselves in their mobile phones or laptop the whole day. I believed never could I understand their thoughts which makes themselves so much addicted to this virtual world.

But this wordpress taught me a great lesson… The lesson which I could never ever study from facebook or what’s app or any other social media.

I could see how much I got involved in this blogging word- reading, commenting, posting…. How easily it grabbed my time for the past few weeks…

Yes, it’s time to apply some controlling torque…otherwise my routine tasks will be punishing me especially in the morning halves. Let me ensure that I wont be logging into wordpress in the morning half of my days. Let me make scheduled posts so that wordpress will work for me even in my absence.

Friends.. what is your plan..Have you already drawn a line..? Or are you a crazy social media follower..?
