This is a tricky one. On the one hand ‘fake’ generally isn’t good, and we need to be able to be honest with how we feel, not just bury everything inside and glue on a fake mask on the outside for appearances sake. BUT! And here’s an important but. It’s also proven that smiling MAKES you happier, so there is in fact reason to at least try and smile even though everything fells like shit.
