I am becoming a fan of electrons

Yes, with each passing day, I respect you, I adore you, and I am becoming fan of you my dear electronsโ€ฆ

Words and Notion

Can you imagine how greedy your rubber soled shoes are?

Greedy for money??electron

No, no..

They are greedy for electrons; yes the so called fundamental particles in the universe.

You might have experienced this greediness many a times.

While you walk across the wool carpet in your office corridor (assuming you are not charged), wearing rubber soled shoes, the greedy shoes starts their work. They steal electrons from the carpet (Electron affinity of rubber is greater than that of wool). And you are getting more and more electrons with each step. Now you reached near the door of your office and touched the metal nob.

Oops.. felt an electric shockโ€ฆ

Have you ever wondered on this?

Yes, the electrons in your body jumps to the metal nob and you experience it as an electric spark.

Even if you changed your rubber soled shoe with leather one, the same sparkโ€ฆ

  1. Let me tell you something about electrons..everything is made up of atoms and atoms are made of protons ,neutrons and electricity.soo at the atomic distance two atoms repel each other because of like forces of protons.Soo when you are touching something, you are actually not touching it,you are just going near to nuclear distance and that repelling force you feel is called touch which is sensed by nerves

  5. I have a lot of experience on this “shock” thing. We were working on a TV project and used to do a lot of testing, and every now and then we used to get a “jhatka”. Best way to avoid it is by walking bare foot. Though it looks odd in a workplace, we had no other option but to work bare footed. ๐Ÿ˜€
